Does ORIGIN need an account?

No. There's nothing to sign up for. Your library lives on your device.

How do I sync between my Mac, iPad and iPhone?

Turn on Settings → Data → iCloud Sync on each device, signed in to the same Apple ID. Sync uses your own private iCloud storage. If you'd rather not use iCloud, export an archive or backup and open it on the other device through Files.

Why are some AI features unavailable?

ORIGIN Intelligence runs on Apple's on-device model, which needs a supported device with Apple Intelligence turned on. Everything else in ORIGIN works without it.

How do I connect Claude Code or another coding agent?

On the Mac, open Connections, choose New Connection, then Create Connection, copy the token, and follow the setup shown there. Agent connections are Mac-only by design. They run on your own computer and never over the internet.

Two devices edited the same ticket. Did I lose something?

No. ORIGIN keeps the losing edit and lists it under Needs a look in Settings → Data → iCloud Sync, so nothing is silently thrown away.

How do I back up my work?

Use Settings → Data → Back Up Now (ORIGIN also backs up automatically every week), or Export Archive… on any project. Backups can be restored on any device running ORIGIN.
